The reserves were finally able to host their first Home game of the season at the Abode Arena, with several in attendance including the Anglian Combination chairman Dale Brown and the league recording the local derby. Due to the cup commitments throughout Norfolk, the game was without an FA appointed referee, and a social media vote saw Assistant Manager Conrad Pitkethly sport the whistle and stopwatch.
The Reserve team struggled to get a foothold throughout the game, playing directly and turning over possession.
In the second half, Mulbarton's fortunes changed with both goals being scored from corners with a first goal for the club for Dan Pullen and Buddy Reeve scoring goal number 8, which have all came in the last 5 games.
The Mulbarton defence and shape were resolute and ensured our 3rd clean sheet of the season.
