Anglian Combination team of the month Wymondham Town are the visitors to Mulberry Park tomorrow afternoon with a place in the Norfolk Senior Cup Quarter-Finals up for grabs in what will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides.

The First Team are aiming to go at least one step further than last season when we were eliminated in the third round by Harleston Town. Victory would also set up what would be only our second appearance beyond the third round of the competition. Many will remember the last occasion when Diss Town travelled to Mulberry Park in 2014.

We will be making full use of the opportunity to name a 16-man squad for Senior Cup games which is bolstered by the returning Jamie Smith, Eliot Altay and Joel Potter.

Our Opponents

Wymondham have made a flying start to the new campaign and will be full of confidence having only dropped two points in the league and were narrowly beaten by Mundford in the Mummery Cup. They are currently enjoying a 7 game winning streak and have scored 4 or more goals on no fewer than six occasions this season. The goalscoring has been spearheaded by Liam Moriaty who is in superb form notching 7 in his last 3 games (12 in 9 overall) but he is not the only danger in their ranks with the likes of Mitchell, Holmes and Pennell to name a few.
