A big well done to next season's Mulbarton U10s for winning the Firside youth tourney. Starting with a convincing 2-0 win over a Sprowston goals (Riley Debenham 2)then a 2-1 victory over Firside (Jensen Martin and Cam Morley) followed by a stunning 4-0 win and our best perfomance v Drayton A (Jensen Martin 3 Ethan Lane 1).

So we moved on the the semis v Wymondham which we won easily 5-0 (Riley Debenham 4 Jensen Martin 1) to set up a our 4th tourney final this summer v Horsford United youth. The game started well for us taking a relatively early lead through Jensen Martin only to take our foot off the pedal and invite Horsford into the game and they obliged with a goal, after both sides missing opportunities to score it went into the uneventful xtra time and on to pens. Horsford won the toss and opted to kick 1st and their 1st pen went wide. Riley steps up and buries his pen into the bottom corner to put us 1 up, Horsfords next pen Ollie Roberts got a finger tip save to push it onto the bar GOOD LAD! Ethan Lane steps up and the horsford keeper got a hand to it but Ethan's shot had too much power and we find ourselves 2 up!! Again Horsfords next pen went sailing over and next up is Jude Brown, if he scores it's all over. After a little advice from his dad lol Jude steps up and slots home his pen kick into the keepers bottom left hand corner to give the unlucky Horsford keeper no chance and the boys celebrate lifting the trophy. WELL DONE LADS fantastic football played at times today, a pleasure to coach you alongside Mark Allen.
