Saturdays sees the visit of Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side Diss Town in the fourth round of the Norfolk Senior Cup.
This game is a big occasion for Mulbarton Wanderers Football Club, and a large crowd is expected. Entry is free, the match day programme is a bumper edition with 18 pages of detail, reports, statistics and humour and our tea hut will be selling hot and cold drinks as well as a selection of snacks and official MWFC merchandise.
The match will be sponsored by Harmony Home Improvements and their owner Stuart Moore will present the Man of The Match Award after the game.
In addition to all of this, our current Under 10s team have volunteered to be our ball boy. Cheers lads!
Preview:
Saturday 22nd November 2014 - 1:30pm Kick Off @ Mulberry Park
Diss have endured a difficult season so far, with just three wins from a possible twenty one. The club facilitated a change in management last week in the hope of turning things around. Former Downham Town manager Mark Reeve taking charge, being assisted by the ex-Wroxham player Danny Self.
Mulbarton have started the season very well, winning thirteen of their fifteen games so far, but their opponents are playing at a much higher level - three divisions above them - so of course go into this game as underdogs.
