Mulbarton Wanderers are pleased to be able to announce our second team to compete in the Eastern Junior Alliance for the 23/24 season.
We will be joined for the coming season by this season's Stoke United under 14 Reds. They will be stepping into the 23/24 Eastern Junior Alliance as reigning NCYFL Premier Division Champions, having also won the division at under 13.
The team are led by Rob Ward, an experienced and capable UEFA B qualified coach.
Rob and the team join Dan Henry and the current Costessey Sports Club under 12 Eagles, completing our EJA line up for 2023/24. We are delighted to be able to formally welcome Rob, Dan and their teams, coaches, parents and players to Mulbarton and thank them for their dedication and hard work to date, to prepare for the coming season. We are pleased that in Dan and Rob we are welcoming aboard two coaches who share our values and beliefs on what is important to us as a club and that we have a focus on helping our players maximise their potential.
We are excited to develop this additional pathway for our players and to be able to offer the highest quality of grassroots football to complement our existing competitive and social pathways.
We intend to build upon this new direction and to provide the option of entering teams from the under 13 age group upwards regularly, providing a highly competitive pathway for talented youth across South Norwich and Norfolk, whilst also continuing to develop our flourishing non-competitive, NCYFL and Norfolk Women and Girls Football League offerings.
