Mulbarton Wanderers Football Club (MWFC) is delighted to announce first team manager’s, Ben Thompson and Danny Self have put pen to paper on a new two year deal keeping them at the club until May 2024.

The pair joined Wanderers as joint first team managers in May 2016, and since their arrival, they have successfully steered the first team to two successful promotions from step 7 to step 5 in the football pyramid. With Wanderers well placed in their first season in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, this campaign will go down as another progressive season for the football club.

Ben Thompson and Danny Self, joint Mulbarton Wanderers managers commented:

“Extending our stay at the club was an easy decision and If the next two seasons are as successful as our previous ones, Wanderers fans and our team of volunteers can look forward to more success, on and off the pitch.

The backing we have received during our time at the club has been incredible and hearing about our future plans is really encouraging. The objective was always to support the clubs long term sustainability, so we are excited to push forward to the next chapter of these plans.”
