In our second annual Tidings of Horning Cup match against our close neighbours CEYMS it was the Wanderers who ended up victorious after a penalty shootout.
The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes with Delaney opening the scoring for the visitors before Simon Freemantle equalised. With no extra time the game went straight to penalties. Goalkeeper Jake Clifford made 2 saves and our takers all converted giving us a 4-3 win on penalties and the club's first piece of silverware for the year.
In the game beforehand the Reserves were narrowly beaten 2-1 thanks to a last minute thunderbolt. Jonny Bailey scored our goal.
Our thanks to CEYMS for another enjoyable double-header and we wish them all the best in their season to come.
