Anglian Combination Premier Division football returns on Saturday and we are once again on our travels as we visit newly promoted Hellesdon looking to secure a fifth straight victory, a feat we only achieved once last season.
Team News
Ben Thompson and Chris Gibbons face late fitness tests after both picked up knocks during our Mummery Cup victory over Attleborough. New signing Adam Bennett comes into the squad in place of Joel Potter. Danny Bland is yet to fully recover from the foot injury that has kept him out since our home game against Bradenham but is not far off making his return.
Our Opponents
The Dons are enjoying life in the top flight after registering 7 points from a possible 12 and also progressed into the second round of the Mummery Cup with a 2-1 victory over Bradenham last weekend. Midfielder Kegan Charlesworth will be one to watch after being voted Player of the Month for August and is currently the clubs top goalscorer alongside Jack Hurrell with 3 goals each. It would also be dangerous to ignore Connor Charlesworth following his impressive return of 28 goals from 31 games last season.
