The First Team travel to Blofield United on Saturday Afternoon looking to preserve our unbeaten start to the season against The Beavers who are also yet to taste defeat thus far. Our opponents followed up an opening day 3-3 draw against Waveney with a 2-1 victory away to St Andrews on Tuesday Night.

Wanderers are among the final three Premier Division sides going into the weekend fixtures with 100% records intact and if we are to maintain this, we must avoid a repeat of last season's encounter at Old Yarmouth Road where we squandered a two goal lead to come away with a solitary point.

Blofield are under new management for the 2017/18 season after appointing Damian Didwell as First Team Manager and he brings with him a wealth of experience, having played for a number of clubs at Anglian Combination and Thurlow Nunn level. As a manager he led Spixworth to Mummery Cup glory in 2015 before moving to Wroxham Reserves. Last season's joint top goalscorer Ashley Mitchell has joined Wymondham Town.

Hayden Gibbons returns to the matchday squad after serving his suspension against Bradenham and he is joined by Jamie Smith and last season's Young Player of the Year, Miles Palmer.

Defensive stalwart Danny Bland is ruled out by the foot injury he picked up on Tuesday night and Goalscorer Jamie George is also unavailable. John Curtis and Charlie Aulert are both on holiday.
