Only a few days have passed since the First Team secured our first 3 points of the season with a strong 4-1 victory away to Reepham Town but attention has swiftly turned to Tuesday evening as Mulberry Park prepares to welcome Division 1 Champions Bradenham Wanderers in what will be our first home fixture of the 2017/18 season.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our chairman Duane James for his many hours of hard graft throughout the summer who along with David Ireland and various other wonderful volunteers have been making several improvements to both the pitch surrounds and changing facilities at Mulberry Park. TH Groundcare have also done a magnificent job with the playing surface which is looking superb ahead of what we hope will be another successful season on the pitch for Mulbarton Wanderers.
Our opponents will be arriving full of confidence following a dream start to life in the Premier Division recording consecutive victories over Mattishall and Beccles Town. George Watts-Sturrock looks like the man to watch with 4 goals to his name after bagging a hat-trick against Beccles on Saturday.
